Any child can come to Dana Gray Elementary School (1197 Chestnut Street) to receive a FREE BREAKFAST and/or a FREE LUNCH from June 10 through July 9. Breakfast is served 8:00-8:30 a.m. and Lunch is served 11:00-11:45 a.m. Mondays through Fridays. Kids can just drop in during service time. We’re happy to accommodate groups of children. Got a kid with big energy? A flair for the dramatic? Perfect. Willits Community Theatre’s Gateway to the Stage Summer Camp starts June 29 with classes and a culminating production of Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical Jr., directed by Joni McLeod, with musical direction by Abigail Strock. Camp students will study song, dance and acting and then enjoy roles in the play. Enrollments are filling quickly, so don’t wait. Mendocino Dance Project is offering free weekly dance classes for people with Parkinson's, their family members, and caregivers. Classes offer healthy and fun ways to build strength, coordination, balance, and stability all while using creativity and imagery to inspire movement. This program is made possible in part by The Community Foundation of Mendocino County’s 2025 Fund for Healthy and Inclusive Communities Grant.
In June Partners Gallery is showing the work of Pamela Hahn.In this exhibit Hahn further explores her love of collage combined with encaustic paint. She has sourced elements from her stamp collection, fragments of family correspondence and pages from adisassembled centuries-old dictionary and child’s reader.Her paintings reflect her fascination with the ever-changing qualities of her garden and coastal environment.
The show opens June 11 and continues through July 6.There’s a Second Saturday Meet the Artist June 13, 5-7pm.The gallery is closed July 4th.

Travel back in time and down the aisle at the Kelley House Museum during “Tying the Knot: Bridal Fashion Unveiled.” Featuring archival photographs, artwork, and historic wedding dresses worn by Mendocino brides from the mid-1860s to 1914, this exhibit showcases evolving trends in bridal styles: from a woman’s “Sunday best” dress to sequins and lace, from bright colors to pure white. You’ll even learn about a few Mendocino love stories along the way. Exhibit runs June 4, 2026 – August 31, 2026.
